Skyler was an important part of getting Blydenburgh Dogpark established. She was one of the dogs that went to meet the legislators at the parks as well as actually going to the Legislative building in Hauppauge.

Skyler was the first dog to step paw in the Dogpark at Blydenburgh County Park along with Sandy with who she lives with.

Along with enjoying the Dogpark- she loves to run with her two legged pal Pam- of course running the trails at Blydenburgh at the park is a must with the cooling waters nearby- ending with a romp at the Dogpark! Skyler is able to fully complete a full 10k…. and keep running and playing ball with other dogs and people- (hhhmmmm…who can I sucker this time to throw the ball continuously is her biggest question at the dogpark)……Skyler is in training the next year for the 2009 Doggie Duathlon in NYC- if your around NYC this year you should go check this years Doggie Du out as well (for more info go to www.nyctri.org)......

Other than all these accomplishments- several years ago, Skyler and Pam saw each other at the Huntington Animal Shelter and knew they’d be the best of friends- now, Skyler and Pam are the best of friends and can be found at Blydenburgh on the trails and at the Dogpark- early in the morning or later in the afternoon/ early evening hours!
